Coreum
Coreum (COREUM) is a Cosmos SDK–based Layer 1 using bonded proof of stake with Tendermint BFT consensus, with protocol-native Smart Tokens and CosmWasm smart-contract functionality built into its application layer. Contracts execute as WebAssembly, typically from Rust source, while full nodes maintain account-based Cosmos state covering balances, tokens, contracts, validators, and transactions. This Cosmos SDK and Wasm model aligns Coreum with other interchain networks, so its application interface combines common Cosmos state and transaction conventions with Coreum-specific token functionality.
