Theta Network (THETA) API Documentation

Theta Network

Theta Network (THETA) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 using multi-level BFT consensus, where Enterprise Validator Nodes are checked by thousands of community-run Guardian Nodes; Theta 2.0 launched in May 2020. Solidity contracts compile to EVM bytecode against account-based state, while full nodes execute transactions and maintain balances, contract code, storage, blocks, receipts, and logs. Because Theta preserves EVM execution semantics despite its distinct consensus hierarchy, Ethereum transaction formats and JSON-RPC conventions remain familiar to developers integrating with the network.

Theta Network API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Theta Network's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Trace/Debug for step-level execution analysis.

Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.

Weighing Theta Network RPC providers against each other? Read the comparison guide on our blog — this page stays focused on integration reference.
