Get key →Komodo (KMD) is a proof-of-work blockchain using delayed Proof of Work, which periodically notarizes chain state to another proof-of-work network and has used Litecoin for notarizations since Season 5. Transactions use a Bitcoin-derived UTXO model and Script, while full nodes validate blocks, transactions, notarizations, and the current set of spendable outputs. This Bitcoin-family architecture keeps blocks, transactions, addresses, scripts, and UTXOs familiar while adding Komodo-specific notarization data to the node interface.
NOWNodes exposes Komodo's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
