Fantom

Fantom (FTM) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 secured by Lachesis, a proof-of-stake, DAG-based asynchronous Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus mechanism used by the Opera network. Solidity contracts execute in the EVM against Ethereum-style account and contract-storage state, while full nodes order consensus events, execute finalized transactions, and maintain the resulting world state. This separation of Lachesis consensus from EVM execution preserves Ethereum contract and JSON-RPC conventions while giving the underlying consensus layer a different data structure.

Fantom API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Fantom's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Trace/Debug for step-level execution analysis. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
