Sui
Sui (SUI) is a delegated-proof-of-stake Layer 1 using the DAG-based Mysticeti consensus protocol, which first launched on mainnet in July 2024. Smart contracts are written in Move and operate on an object-centric state model, while full nodes validate transactions, track checkpoints and epoch changes, and store objects, packages, transaction effects, and chain history. This object-based Move architecture is shared with other Move-derived systems, making objects, packages, checkpoints, and transaction effects the primary primitives exposed to applications.
