Get key →Hedera (HBAR) is a public proof-of-stake distributed ledger using asynchronous Byzantine fault-tolerant Hashgraph consensus rather than a conventional blockchain. Solidity contracts run in an EVM-compatible environment, while network state uses a Virtual Merkle Tree and consensus nodes maintain current accounts, tokens, contracts, files, topics, and transaction state, with mirror nodes retaining history. This combination gives developers Ethereum-compatible contract execution alongside Hedera-native services, so both EVM and native ledger abstractions matter at the interface layer.
NOWNodes exposes Hedera's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: the native Mirror Node REST API for indexed account, balance, block, contract, token, topic, and transaction lookups, and gRPC for protocol-defined service calls.
Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
