Get key →X Layer (OKB) is an EVM-compatible Ethereum Layer 2 using sequencer-based OP Stack execution, after migrating from its original Polygon CDK architecture and moving its execution client from geth to reth in 2026. Solidity contracts execute against Ethereum-style account state, while execution and rollup nodes process Layer 2 transactions and maintain balances, contract storage, blocks, receipts, and logs. Because X Layer follows OP Stack and EVM conventions, Ethereum transaction formats, tooling, and JSON-RPC semantics provide the same integration baseline as other EVM Layer 2 networks.
NOWNodes exposes X Layer's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups, and Trace/Debug for step-level execution analysis.
Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
Weighing X Layer RPC providers against each other? Read the comparison guide on our blog — this page stays focused on integration reference.
