Get key →Aurora (AURORA) is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 implemented as a smart contract on NEAR Protocol, inheriting NEAR’s proof-of-stake consensus and using mainnet chain ID 1313161554. Solidity contracts execute through Aurora Engine with Ethereum-style account and storage semantics, while NEAR nodes ultimately store and execute the underlying contract state and transactions. Because Aurora preserves EVM behavior while settling through NEAR, Ethereum tooling and JSON-RPC conventions remain the application-facing baseline even though the execution environment is hosted on a different Layer 1.
NOWNodes exposes Aurora's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
