Firo

Firo (FIRO) is a privacy-focused payments blockchain using FiroPoW with a hybrid masternode security model, and its Spark privacy protocol went live on mainnet in January 2024. Transactions build on a Bitcoin-derived UTXO ledger while adding privacy-specific constructs, and full nodes validate proof-of-work blocks, transactions, spendable outputs, and protocol state needed for Spark and masternode functions. This UTXO foundation keeps standard block and transaction concepts familiar while privacy and finality features add Firo-specific data and validation rules.

Firo API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Firo's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
