Moonbeam (GLMR) API Documentation

Moonbeam

Moonbeam (GLMR) is an EVM-compatible parachain in the Polkadot ecosystem, using collators for block production and Polkadot’s relay-chain consensus for shared security and finality. Solidity contracts execute as EVM bytecode against Ethereum-style account state, while nodes maintain contract storage, balances, blocks, receipts, logs, and Substrate runtime data. This combination links Ethereum execution semantics with Substrate and cross-chain messaging, allowing applications to use familiar EVM tooling while also interacting with Polkadot-native interoperability primitives.

Moonbeam API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Moonbeam's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.

Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.

Weighing Moonbeam RPC providers against each other? Read the comparison guide on our blog — this page stays focused on integration reference.
