Meter

Meter (MTR) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 with a hybrid design that uses proof of work to create MTR and HotStuff-based proof of stake to order and finalize ledger transactions. Solidity contracts execute on the EVM against account-based state, while full nodes process consensus blocks and maintain balances, contract code, storage, transactions, receipts, and validator state. This separation of currency creation from transaction consensus preserves standard EVM application semantics while giving Meter a protocol-specific monetary and validator layer.

Meter API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Meter's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
