Starknet

Starknet (STRK) is an Ethereum Layer 2 validity rollup whose sequencing layer is secured by STRK staking and whose state transitions are proven with STARKs to Ethereum, with v0.14.2 live on mainnet since April 2026. Smart contracts are written in Cairo and compile through Sierra and CASM representations, while full nodes synchronize blocks, transactions, contract classes, and account-based state updates. This proof-based execution model makes Starknet-specific accounts, classes, state diffs, and transactions the application baseline while Ethereum remains the verification and data-availability layer.

Starknet API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Starknet's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
