Get key →Qtum (QTUM) is a proof-of-stake Layer 1 that combines Bitcoin’s UTXO ledger with EVM smart contracts through its Account Abstraction Layer. Solidity contracts execute as EVM bytecode, while the abstraction layer maps contract execution onto UTXO transactions and full nodes maintain blocks, spendable outputs, contract state, receipts, and staking data. This hybrid preserves Bitcoin-style transaction outputs alongside Ethereum-style contract execution, making both UTXO primitives and EVM-compatible calls relevant to application integrations.
NOWNodes exposes Qtum's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, WSS (WebSocket) for real-time subscriptions and events, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
