Kaia
Kaia (KAIA) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 using an optimized Istanbul BFT consensus design with deterministic finality and one-second block intervals. Solidity contracts compile to EVM bytecode and execute against account-based state, while full nodes process blocks and maintain balances, contract code, storage, receipts, logs, and validator-related state. Because Kaia preserves Ethereum execution semantics and transaction formats, standard EVM tooling and JSON-RPC conventions remain the shared application-facing baseline.
