Decred

Decred (DCR) is a payments and governance blockchain using hybrid proof of work and proof of stake, with five tickets called to vote on each block and approve or reject the preceding regular transaction tree. Transactions use a UTXO model with separate regular and stake transaction types, while full nodes validate mined blocks, stakeholder votes, scripts, and the current spendable-output set. This Bitcoin-derived UTXO foundation retains familiar block and transaction primitives while adding stake tickets, votes, and consensus-governance data to the node interface.

Decred API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Decred's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
