Aptos (APT) is a proof-of-stake Layer 1 smart contract network using AptosBFT consensus, with mainnet launched on October 17, 2022. Contracts are written in Move and compiled to Move bytecode, while global state is organized around account-addressed resources and full nodes track ledger state, transactions, and execution results produced by the Move VM. This resource-oriented execution model is shared with the wider Move ecosystem, making accounts, modules, resources, events, and ledger versions the core primitives exposed to applications.

Aptos API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Aptos's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: its REST API for reading ledger state and submitting transactions, and gRPC for protocol-defined service calls.
