DigiByte (DGB) API Documentation

DigiByte

DigiByte (DGB) is a UTXO-based payments and asset blockchain secured by proof of work across five mining algorithms, with 15-second target block times and a network history dating to 2014. Transactions use Bitcoin-derived scripts and consume unspent outputs, while full nodes independently validate blocks and transactions and maintain the blockchain, UTXO set, and mempool. This Bitcoin-derived execution model makes blocks, transactions, scripts, addresses, and UTXOs familiar integration primitives while its multi-algorithm mining design remains specific to DigiByte.

DigiByte API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes DigiByte's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.

Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
