Terra

Terra (LUNA) is a Cosmos SDK Layer 1 secured by proof-of-stake validators through Tendermint consensus, with the Phoenix-1 network producing its first block on May 28, 2022. CosmWasm contracts compile to WebAssembly, commonly from Rust, while full nodes execute transactions and maintain account balances, staking, governance, IBC, contract, and other module state. This Cosmos SDK and CosmWasm model aligns Terra with other interchain networks, making accounts, transactions, validators, IBC data, and contract state familiar application-facing primitives.

Terra API Methods and Endpoints
