Verge

Verge (XVG) is a payments blockchain secured by proof of work across five mining algorithms—Scrypt, X17, Lyra2REv2, Myr-Groestl, and Blake2s—with a 30-second target block time. Transactions follow Bitcoin-style UTXO semantics and Script, while full nodes validate blocks and spends and maintain blockchain data, the mempool, and the current set of unspent outputs. This Bitcoin-derived model makes blocks, transactions, addresses, scripts, and UTXOs familiar integration primitives while multi-algorithm mining remains specific to Verge.

Verge API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Verge's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
