Plasma

Plasma (XPL) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 using PlasmaBFT, a proof-of-stake HotStuff-derived consensus protocol, with its Mainnet Beta operating under chain ID 9745. Solidity contracts execute as EVM bytecode against Ethereum-style account state, while full nodes validate blocks and maintain balances, contract code, storage, transactions, receipts, and logs. Because Plasma preserves EVM execution and Ethereum transaction semantics, standard Ethereum tooling and JSON-RPC conventions remain the shared baseline for applications integrating with the network.

Plasma API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Plasma's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Trace/Debug for step-level execution analysis. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
