PIVX

PIVX (PIVX) is a payments and privacy blockchain secured by proof of stake, with the SHIELD protocol adding zk-SNARK-based shielded transactions to its Bitcoin-derived architecture. Transactions use a UTXO model, while full nodes validate blocks and spends and maintain the blockchain, mempool, spendable outputs, staking data, and privacy-related state. This combination keeps Bitcoin-family block, transaction, address, and UTXO primitives familiar while adding proof-of-stake and shielded-transaction semantics specific to PIVX.

PIVX API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes PIVX's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
