MultiversX (EGLD) API Documentation

MultiversX

MultiversX (EGLD) is a sharded Layer 1 secured by Secure Proof of Stake, with mainnet live since July 2020 and adaptive state sharding splitting execution across multiple shards. Smart contracts compile to WebAssembly, commonly from Rust, while each shard’s nodes execute transactions and maintain its portion of account, token, contract, and protocol state. This shard-aware Wasm model makes accounts, smart-contract results, tokens, transactions, and shard identifiers core integration primitives rather than relying on EVM-compatible execution semantics.

MultiversX API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes MultiversX's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: its native Gateway API for querying accounts, blocks, transactions, tokens, and smart-contract state and for submitting transactions.

Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.

Weighing MultiversX RPC providers against each other? Read the comparison guide on our blog — this page stays focused on integration reference.
