eCash
eCash (XEC) is a payments blockchain that combines Nakamoto proof-of-work consensus with Avalanche post-consensus, which adds rapid finality decisions on top of the heaviest PoW chain. Transactions use Bitcoin-derived Script and a UTXO model, while full nodes validate blocks and spends, maintain the UTXO set, and participate in Avalanche voting when configured. This hybrid keeps standard Bitcoin-family block, transaction, output, and mempool primitives while adding finalization state specific to the eCash protocol.
eCash API Methods and Endpoints
NOWNodes exposes eCash's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and Blockbook for indexed address, balance, transaction, and block lookups. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
