Get key →Polkadot (DOT) is a multi-chain Layer 0 secured by nominated proof of stake, using BABE for block production and GRANDPA for deterministic finality across its relay-chain architecture. Runtime logic compiles to WebAssembly, while relay-chain nodes execute extrinsics and maintain account, staking, governance, runtime, validator, and cross-chain state used to coordinate parachains. This Substrate-based model is shared with Kusama and many parachains, making SCALE-encoded state, extrinsics, runtime metadata, and relay-chain primitives common integration concepts across the ecosystem.
NOWNodes exposes Polkadot's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and WSS (WebSocket) for real-time subscriptions and events. Archive mode extends any of these to historical states and data beyond standard retention.
Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.
