Core
Core (CORE) is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 secured by Satoshi Plus consensus, which combines Delegated Proof of Work, self-custodial Bitcoin staking, and Delegated Proof of Stake to elect validators. Solidity contracts execute as EVM bytecode against account-based state, while full nodes process blocks and maintain balances, contract code, storage, receipts, logs, and validator-related state. This combination keeps Ethereum execution semantics intact while tying validator selection to Bitcoin miners and stakers, so standard EVM application interfaces remain applicable.
