Metis

Metis (METIS) is an Ethereum Layer 2 whose Hyperion architecture uses a stake-weighted decentralized sequencer network with BLS quorum certificates and settles state commitments to Ethereum. Solidity and other EVM languages compile to EVM bytecode, while execution nodes process transactions and maintain Ethereum-style accounts, contract storage, blocks, receipts, and logs. Because Metis preserves EVM semantics while changing transaction ordering and execution infrastructure, Ethereum transaction formats, tooling, and JSON-RPC conventions remain the application-facing baseline.

Metis API Methods and Endpoints
