Kava
Kava (KAVA) is a Cosmos SDK Layer 1 secured by proof-of-stake consensus, with a dual architecture that combines Cosmos-native modules and an EVM-compatible execution environment. Solidity contracts run on the EVM against account-based state, while full nodes also execute Cosmos SDK transactions and maintain balances, staking, governance, module, and contract state. This co-chain model connects Ethereum-compatible execution with Cosmos transaction and interoperability conventions, so applications can rely on familiar EVM primitives alongside native Cosmos state.
