Akash Network (AKT) API Documentation

Akash Network

Akash Network (AKT) is a Cosmos SDK–based Layer 1 for decentralized cloud marketplace coordination, secured by proof-of-stake validators through CometBFT consensus; Mainnet 14 went live on October 28, 2025 and upgraded the chain to Cosmos SDK v0.53. Its core application logic is implemented as Cosmos SDK modules, with account-based state stored in an IAVL tree while full nodes validate transactions and replicate network state. This Cosmos SDK and CometBFT architecture is shared across many interchain networks, so Akash follows familiar Cosmos transaction and query conventions.

Akash Network API Methods and Endpoints

NOWNodes exposes Akash Network's interface, plus a few others, depending on what your integration needs: JSON-RPC for reading chain state and broadcasting transactions, and WSS (WebSocket) for real-time subscriptions and events.

Browse the interfaces below for endpoint details, request parameters, response formats, and integration examples. Create an API key, select Mainnet or Testnet, choose the required interface, and start sending requests from your application.

Weighing Akash Network RPC providers against each other? Read the comparison guide on our blog — this page stays focused on integration reference.
