Band Protocol
Band Protocol (BAND) is a Cosmos SDK Layer 1 oracle network secured by Tendermint BFT proof-of-stake consensus, with validators responsible for producing blocks and reporting requested data. Data scripts are implemented with Band’s Owasm framework on top of Rust, while full nodes verify blocks and transactions and maintain account-based chain state together with oracle requests, reports, and results. Because BandChain follows Cosmos SDK and Tendermint conventions, its network interface combines standard Cosmos transaction primitives with oracle-specific state and data-query workflows.
